Makes 1 smoothie
1 small ripe banana, cut in half
1/2 cup low fat (1%) milk
1 tps creamy peanut butter
3 ice cubes
In blender, combine banana, milk, peanut butter, and ice. blend until mixture is smooth and frothy
Each smoothie about 165 calories, 6g protein, 28g carbohydrate, 4g total fat (2g saturated), 2g fiber, 5mg cholesterol, 85mg sodium

for a thicker, colder smoothie, use a banana that's peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen up to 1 week in a self sealing plastic bag

1 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 cup mango or apricot nectar, Chilled
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yoghurt
4 ice cubes
In blender, combine strawberries, mango nectar, yoghurt, and ice. Blend until mixture is smooth and frothy
